ALIEN means a person of the ago of 1(1 years or over, who is not a British subject, or win notwithstanding Hint he may also be a. British subject by birth or naturalization or otherwise, is or at any lime has been according to the laws of any State with which His Majesty is at war a national of that State. Every person who after the date o! these Regulations becomes an alien whether by attaining the age of sixteen years, or, in the case of a woman by marriage to an alien, .or otherwise howsoever, shall within fourteen days make* application for registration. Every application for registration under these regulations shall be made personally at the Police .Station nearest to which the applicant resides. After the expiration of fourteen days from the date of these Regulations every alien registered under tie Regulations shall produce a Certificate of Registration when required to do so by anv Police Officer. The penalty for failing to register or for any other offence against the Regulations is a. line of £ 100, or three months’ imprisonment, or both line and imprisonment. NOTE: It is of the utmost importance in their own interests that ah aliens register under these Regulations.
