Mrs. Helen Wills Moody, who has won eight Wimbledon, seven American and four French tennis titles, said to-clay:—

"I am never going to retire. From time to time I am not going lo play, but you can never tell when it will pull you back. You might want to go waddling around at 50, if you si ill have a little spring in your knees!"

Mrs. Moody is 33. Nearly every afternoon she is on a tennis court in mid-town Now York, playing an excellent game after working all. the morning on her second novel. This will be her fourth book.
