FINNISH RUNNER
Taosto Maeki, the Finnish distance runner, who has already created world records at distances from 3000 to 10,000 metres in the last 12 months, is described by sports writers as one of the marvels of the age. Maeki is regarded as even greater than the worldfamous Paavo Nurmi. He is expected to be prominent during the Olympic Games at Helsinki next year.
