GISBORNE WINS

DOUBLE AT WANGANUI HIGGIE TO SLY FOX BLONDE PRINCESS’ SPRINT BE AULT VRE’ S 0 LINE AS (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The Wanganui Jockey Clubs spiing meeting was concluded on Satin day m fine, warm weather, before a good attendance. The totalisator handled £18,427 10s on Saturday, against £22,/19 10s on the second day last year. For the mee'ing the investments totalled .129,5637 compared with £35,333 10s, a year ago. The course was easy but was much better than on the first day. Results:—

The inquiry into the alleged crossng by Sunbeam, ridden by RohlolT, in the Okehu Hurdles on the first day, when Misurina and Toper were interfered with, was concluded, it being found that Sunbeam ran in under the whip. The explanation was accepted.
