TRAFFIC BREACHES

MOTORISTS AND CYCLISTS ' FINES INFLICTED Speeding motorists comprised the larger 'number of traffic offenders dealt with bv Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M.. in the Police Court this morning. The prosecutor was the borough traffic inspector, Mr. T. G. Nowell.

Gordon Trevor Church, for passing another vehicle on an intersection, was convicted and fined .Cl and costs.

Elvin Hansen was fined 10s and costs, and Jack Thomson fined 15s and costs for riding on the outside of two other cycles.

Daniel Haydon was convicted and fined £1 and costs for speeding. Fred Milligan and Robert McKay being fined 10s and 15s respectively for similar offences.

For parking incorrectly in Gladstone road, Roy J. Lewis was convicted and fined £1 and costs. Reginald Scott was convicted and fined 10s and costs for a similar type of breach of the regulations. Annie Stevens, for obstructing another vehicle leaving a parking place, was convicted and fined 10s and costs.
