“WISHFUL THINKING”
WARNINGS ISSUED STORIES OF TROUBLE (Flee. Tel. Copyright —United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 11, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 9. Official circles have launched a full-blooded campaign against “wishful thinking.” The highest quarters, like the public, are flooded with stories of internal trouble in Germany. It is stated that the stories cannot be ignored, but many are iil-founded and the majority are exaggerated. Typical reports are accounts ol bread riots in Berlin and women marching against barracks and demanding the return of their menfolk.
