ARMY UNIFICATION

DUKE’S LIAISON POST (Reed. Scot. 8, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. C. The King has approved of the appointment of the Duke of Gloucester as Chief Liaison Officer to tire British Field Forces. Sir John Brown has been appointed as Deputy Adjutant-General at the War Office with the rank of Lieuten-ant-General. He will continue to advise the War Office oti Territorial Army matters. Following the unification of the army, all units of the regular army, the Territorial Army arid the militia and other auxiliary forces henceforth will become the British Army.
