VALUE OF ADVERTISING

The value of advertising was emi.nasiscd by Mr. E. M. Carpenter, Canterbury, at the annual meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board in Wellington. Mr, Carpenter said he noticed that the board had .spent £42,000 in advertising last season. They had received wonderful value from the-'scheme, because tiiis was the day of publicity with a capital “P.” Nothing had returned such value to the producers of New Zealand as the money spent in advertising. It had assisted 20,000 retailers in carrying on and extending thei r businesses.
