PROTECTING NEUTRALITY
AMERICAN ACTION PATROL BY SEA AND AIR (Reed. Sept. 7, 12 noon) WASHINGTON, Sept. G. The President, Mr. Franklyn D. Roosevelt, has ordered a patrol by sea and air of coastlines and waters of the United States and possessions several hundred miles out from the shore to protect American neutrality. Hundreds of destroyers are being recommissioned for this purpose.
