The Gisborne Borough Council this week appointed Mr! G. Tresaderm Gisborne, borough buildings and drainage inspector, in succession to Mr. L. W. Patterson. A brief visit to New Zealand after a tour of Australia is being made by M. Marcel Dupre, organist at St. Sulpice Church, Paris, where the organ, with its 102 stops, is. the largest in France and one of the biggest in the world.
