BADMINTON

BARTLETTS V. WAIKOHU SIX GAMES ALL , (Herald Correspondent.) The Waikohu Badminton Club played the final match for this season on Monday evening, when a team representing Bartletts Badminton Club visited Te Karaka. Each club won six games, but the visiting team was well ahead ■ on points, scoring 190 against Waikohu’s i 134., At the conclusion of the match, the teams were entertained at supper by members of the Waikohu club. Mr. J. Holdsworti,, speaking for the Waikohu club, expressed pleasure at- the - opportunity of meeting the Bartletts team. Mr. Muir responded on behalf of the Bartletts club. The players were: Bartletts. WaUers, Clanachan, Muir, Carswell, Cameron and Grieve; Mesdames Smith, Clanachan and Cameron; ♦ Misses Bourke, E. and J. French. Waikohu—J. iHoldsworth, E. Ruru, IR. Gould, A. Manuel, P. Reynolds and J. Dowding; Mesdames H. O'Connell, and & Cranswick; Misses J. Marshall, L..Ruru, J. Kyne and V. Seamons.
