WRECKAGE OF LAUNCH
FOXTON ORACH DISCOVERY Last week-end Mr. 11. I-lamor, of Foxton, discovered wreckage -belonging to a launch on the Foxton beach, about four miles north of the Manawatu River mouth. Portion is from the bottom of the boat, being copperplated, while other portions are from the decking. It is considered possible that the wreckage is portion of a launch which was lost at the mouth of the Wanganui River when engaged in salvage work on the Port Bowen. The set of the current is south from j Wanganui.
