SHOWMAN FOR TRIAL
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE SHOOTING FATALITY (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Pleading not guilty to a charge of manslaughter, Walter Taylor, a showman, known as Walter Clancy, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail of £IOO being allowed. The charge arose from a fatal accident in a shooting gallery. The accused was not present when the accident occurred, but the charge alleged failure on his part to take reasonable precautions. v
