DEATH AT 66 YEARS EIGHTH BARON HAWKE (Reed. Sept. 7, 9 a.m.) LONDON. Sept. 5. The death has occurred of Lord Hawke, eighth Baron Hawke, and successor to a former president of the Marylebone Cricket Club. The deceased had a long career in the Indian mercantile world and a personal connection with the Indian Empire extending over manv years. He was sixth son of the sixth Baron Hawke, and succeeded his brother on the latter’s death in October, 19.18. He was a director of the Bombay Company, Limited, and also of the National Bank of India, Limited. He tcates two sons and one daughter.
