PLEDGES BY DOMINION GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT CHECK TO AGGRESSION PLANS FOR CO-OPERATION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Appreciation o'f the pledges of support given by the New Zealand Government is expressed in a telegram received from the British Government, a copy of which was laid on the table of the House of Representatives yesterday. The British authorities also state that they will advise tiie Government here as soon as possible of any suggestions they can make regarding New Zealand’s co-operation. The telegram was in reply to New Zealand’s communication announcing the Dominion’s declaration of war with Germany, arid, states; “His Majesty’s Government in the United Kingdom have received with the deepest appreciation the generous pledges of support given by His Majesty's Government in New. Zealand.
