TRAINING AT RANDWICK
ROYAL CHIEF'S GALLOP READING BRILLIANT (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 6. 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 6. The New Zealand horses, Peerless, Beauvite, Royal Chief and Beau Repaire, provided the highlights at yesterday’s training gallops at Randwick. Buzalong, Adios and Denis were the best of the local division. Royal Chief was responsible for a sterling gallop over five furlongs in 1.35. He retains all his olcl speed. Beau Repaire ran a sound mile in 1.425. Te Hero did steady work. Reading ran a brilliant seven furlongs at Victoria Park, defeating St. Constant in 1.28:1, and finished strongly. Early Bird has been scratched for all spring engagements.
