MEMORANDA
The attention of members of the Poverty Bay Turf Club i.s drawn to an advertisement in this issue concerning the annual meeting to be held to-morrow evening. The attention of cattle breeders is drawn \o ,the twenty-fifth annual sale of registered purebred Hereford bulls to be offered next Friday at the Malawhcro yards on behalf of Messrs. Hutchinson Bros., Waihuka. This sale again all’ords breeders the opportunity of sepuring bulls second to none in the Dominion. A feature of special interest is an entry of 10 bulls by the imported sires Paunton James and Flashlight, both with good show ring records in England and locally. For the first time the progeny'of the latest importation, Flashlight, will be offered to breeders. The entry as a whole is of outstanding type and quality, and will come forward in excellent condition. The sale is to be conducted by Messrs. Common. Shelton and Company. Limited, auctioneers, *nnd 'is sriieduled to start at 1 p.m.
