NO GISBORNE MEETING RESULT OF WAR OUTBREAK 'As a .result of the outbreak of war, the uncertainty of petrol supplies, and the necessity for economy, the Hawlc.e’s Bay Education Board has decided not to hold its September meetirtg in ■ Gisborne, as originally planned. This meeting was to have been held here on September 27, following a tour of district' schools by members of the board. Advice that the meeting would not be held in Gisborne was received by GisbOrnc members of the board today, when they were informed that the board would adhere to its usual date, and the September meeting would be held in. Napier on September 15.
