MEMORANDA

Forty-five entries have been received tor the Poverty Bay Jersey Cattle Club’s annual sale. The club’s committee has inspected all animals, and reports that those accepted are well up to standard. All bulls are qualified to sire marked calves. Catalogues shortly will be available, and may be obtained from the auctioneers, or the secretary, Mr. W. E. Chamberlain. The attention of dairy farmers is drawn to the sale of Jersey bulls on Thursday on behalf of Messrs. F. J. Savage and Son and Mr. K. G. Poulgrain. This sale should prove .of special interest to dairymen owing to the fact that these bulls will compare favourably with anything in the Dominion to-day. Messrs. Common, Shelton and Company. Limited, are the auctioneers conducting the sale, which is timed to start; at 11 a.m, i The Gisborne Savage Club is boldv.,g its eighth korero of the season m the City Hall to-morrow evening.
