CAPTURE OF BREMEN
AMERICAN REPORT “NO NEWS” AT ADMIRALTY (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 4, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 3. A powerful New York wireless station reports intercepting a broadcast from the official Mondial, Paris, station announcing that the British have captured the German liner Bremen, which left New York a few days ago after being detained by the .U.S.A. authorities, and escorted her to a British seaport. The correspondent of the United Press of America in London states that the Admiralty denied the news “at present” of tint Bremen’s capture
