Australian fruitgrowers arc benefiting substantially from the development of British defences in Singapore, India, and other parts of the East In the past season, exports of Australian jam to the East reached record proportions. Records just completed by the Customs Department show that total jam exports last year reached the record quantity of 13,870,0001 b, to all destinations, compared with (i,203,0001b. in the previous-year and about 1,500,0001 b. TC years ago.
