VETERANS AT GOLF
ROTORUA RESULTS
(Per Press Association.) ROTORUA, this day. The New Zealand golf veterans’ tournament, which has been in progress on (he Arikikapakapa links during the past week, concluded yesterday when C. E. Pulley, Karori, won the Veteran’s Cup defeating G. H. Scott 2 and 1 in a match m which consistency was the deciding factor. The Arikikapakapa Cup, competed for by the second 16 to qualify, was won by W. B. Lusk, Auckland, who defeated A. J. Shepherd, Morrinsville 4 and 2. The final of the Consolation Cup, competed for by the third 16 qualifiers, provided a dour struggle which went to the twenty-third before it was won by Dr. C. E. Howden, Waiuku, playing against J. Harrison, Wanganui. ______
