CALL BY ARCHBISHOP DAILY LUNCH .SERVICES An appeal for intensified intercession has been made by Archbishop Averill, Auckland, to all Anglican churches in the Dominion. Canon A. F. Hall, Vicar of the Holy Trinity Church, Gisborne, .states that the archbishop is calling on all church people for intensified intercession lor peace at all services to-morrow.

The archbishop also has asked that daily lunch-lime services should be held throughout next week, a brief service to be hold shortly after 12 o’clock and a further one for those people commencing their lunches at 1 o'clock
