■llis Majesty the King visited No. 10 Downing Street at 4.30 p.m. in order to save the Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, going to Buckingham Palace. This is the first time in history that His Majesty has journeyed to have an audience with the Prime Minister.

Mr.' Chamberlain was anxious to see the King, but. did not want to leave the telephone.
