The House of Representatives continued with the consideration of the Estimates on the resumption at 2.30 p.m. yesterday, and during the afternoon passed the following classes: — Justice and Prisons, £303,000; Crown Law Office, £8449; Public Trust Office, £346,677; Government Insurance Department, £223,139; State Fire Office, £140,838; State Accident Insurance, £45,895; Public Service Superannuation Fund, £9143; Social Security Department and war and other pensions, £4,080,000; Social Security Fund, £1,754,625. A total of 13 classes of estimates were passed during the day, with a total amount of £7,430,446.
