SPUR TO RECRUITING
INTERNATIONAL SITUATION WANGANUI ENROLMENTS (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The state of the international situation is acting as an incentive to many New Zealanders to wake up to the country’s position, and Military Reserve recruiting has gone ahead with a jump. The Wanganui defence office is receiving about 30 applications a day for enrolment, including numbers of men between 60 and 70 years of age.
