lIESTOR DEPARTURE

(Reed. Aug. 31, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 30.

The German plane, the arrival of which had previously been reported, took off from Heston for Berlin tonight with a solitary passenger. His identity was not revealed. The departure of the plane coincided with the announcement that the British reply had .been sent to Herr Hitler. This was the third mystery flight while the Anglo-German- exchanges have .been in progress.
