In a wr'tten judgment by Mr. Justice Blair delivered this morning in a case concerning the interpretation of the lease of -Barnson’s Hotel site, the plaintiff 'being the owner of the land and the defendants its lessees, His Honour’s direction was that in computing the rental as at August, 1931, the arbitrators should look simply at the value of the ground as' a site without buildings, and that the goodwill of the license and the business done by the hotel were not to be considered.
