TOKOMARU BAY GOLF
PORTER FOURSOME HORTON AND OATES WIN (Herald Correspondent.) Last week-end members of the Tokomaru Bay Golf Club took part in a foursome for trophies donated by Mr. F. E. Porter. W. Horton and K. Oates ran out the winners with a score of 82—19 —63. Other scores were:—Murphy and Felton, 88—24—64; Stafford and Chaplin, 83—21—67; Gardner and Jackson, 35_118 —G7; Todd and Riddell, 93 —20— 73- Paerata and Forrester, 91 —18 —73; F. R. Porter and Orr, 96—20—76; F. E. Porter and Curran, 94—18—76; Thompson and Beechey, 107 28 79, Griffiths and Sutherland, 107—24—83. The visit to Makarika will not take place this week-end. A Stablefovd bogey will be played, the draw for which is as follows: —Todd and K. Oates; Felton and Riddell; Eddy and Fairlie- Short and F. R. Porter; K. Paerata and F. E. Porter; Orr and Jackson; Stafford and Gardner.
