LADIES’ BOWLING CLUB

K AIIUTIA GATHER!NG The third annual, meeting of the Kahutia Ladies' Bowling Club was held in the Kahutia pavilion yesterday afternoon, when there was a full attendance of members. The president, Mrs. C. Corlet, was in the chair. A most successful season was reviewed in the annual report and the balance sheet showed that the club's finances were in a satisfactory position. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted:—President, Mrs, C, Corlet; vice-president, Mrs. C. G. Vail; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mrs. H. McLaughlin; committee, Mesdames R. Jenkins, O. Dunlop, P. Fischbach, S. Wilson and G. Graham; tea secretary, Mrs. O. Dunlop, and assistant, Mrs. G. Graham; press steward, Mrs. R. Jenkins. It was decided to hold the official opening of the season on October 5.
