POVERTY DAY LADIES The following is the draw for the C grade lady players of the Poverty Bay Golf Club ,fbr to-morrow morning:— 9.15 a.m., Miss McLernon and Miss Walton; 9.20 a.m., Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Hansen; 9.25 a.m., Mrs. G. Armstrong and Mrs. A. N. Smith; 9.30 a.m., Mrs. Woodward and Mrs. Pittar; 9.35 a.m., Mrs. B. Burke and Miss Cooper; 9.40 a.m., Miss Galliers and partner. ' PARK CLUB LADIES Some good cards were handed in last week-end, .the wiinner of the B section being Miss Jelinek with 100—36—G4, Miss Hollis being next with 104—3G—G8. In the C section Miss Heaslip was first, with Miss Scott second. In the J. K. Stars Mrs. Vickers and Miss .(Hopps won by default. This week’s challengers will be Mrs. Williams and Miss Gilman. Mrs. Clarke defeated Miss Bell in the McMurray Star. There will be no play in this section this weekend.
All players concerned should note that the first round of the club championships must be played off by September 11.
