COOK COUNTY RATiIS £30,070 SECURES REBATE At the close of the last .rebate day yesterday, 61.46 per cent of the rates struck by the Cook County Council for the current year had been collected, a figure slightly better than up to the corresponding period of a year ago.

Rates struck for the year totalled £48,935, and at the close of business yesterday £30,070 had been received, including £IOO9 allowed as rebates.

Up to the corresponding period last year, £32,454 had been collected out of a total of £53,935 struck, the percentage of rates paid being Slightly over 60.
