USE OF RADIO
At a recent meeting of the Papatoetoe branch of ti he New Zealand National Party the following resolution iwias passed: —“This/ meeting wishes to ask the Minister of Justice to point out to the Minister in charge of Broadcasting the injustice of the Government’s using the national broadcasting system six days a week for propaganda at 7 p.m., while on Sundays the commercial stations are used for moat unfair propaganda thinly disguised as religion; meanwhile a reputable citizen such as Mr. R. M. Algie is forbidden to broadcast even ait advertising rates.”
