WEEK-END RUGBY
GAMES IN WHATATTJTU EUN FOE P.L. REPS. SUIi-UNION OPPONENTS In order to keep the Poverty Bay representative players at concert pitch for their later engagements, the district Rugby Union has arranged a weekend match against a selected side from the Waikohu and 'Motu sub-union areas, to take place in Whatatutu. The town players will assemble at Miller's Corner at 1 (p.m., and will ibe transported by bus to tlie ground. The Poverty Bay senior selector, Mr. T. French, has nominated the following players to represent the union in this match: — Full-back. P. Malone: three-quarters, A. Read. W. Hoy and (R. Short; fiveeighths. P. Ilaisman and T. Smiler; half-back, W. Morrison; front row forwards, B. Kutia, C. Anderson, C. McGrannichan; middle row, G. Phillips, M. O’Brien, W. Aitken and F. Twigg; back row, R. Rogers. . Emergencies will be J. Short, M. Smiler and A. McAneuey, backs; M» Doyle, W. Holmes and J. Milne. The team will be under the managership of Mr. G. J. Jeune.
