Gisborne Golfer’s Success
Playing in the Hastings open golf tournament on the Hastings club s links last week, the Gisborne goiter, Peter Dow, scored a fine victory in the final of the Ngatarawa Flight, defeatin'* E. E. Rixon by the handy margin ”of 5 and 4. The Hastings Open Championship was brilliantly won toy D. G. Sutherland, who defeated H. J. Longstaff 5 and 4 in the final.
