FRENCH CENSORSHIP

PRESS AND RADIO HORSES REQUISITIONED (Reed. Aug. 29, 11 a.m.) PARIS, Aug. 28. The Paris journal Le Matin says that censorship of the French press and wireless is being introduced today. Horses have been requisitioned for French defence purposes. Fifty thousand women are standing by in Paris lor air raid precaution duties. Film players were to-day hastening across France from the postponed international film festival for America. In Paris, Britons are queueing up at the British Embassy to enrol as volunteers.

France has discontinued the ParisBerlin and other Continental air services.
