N.Z. SURPLUS MUTTON MR, FRASER EMPHATIC (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. “The statement is incorrect,” said the acting-Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, yesterday afternoon in reference to a telegram from Christchurch stating that the British Government had taken over the New Zealand mutton surplus.
