AUSTRALIAN EXCHANGES WEAK AND NERVOUS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) SYDNEY, August 25. The Sydney investment market today 'was weak and nervous, tout there was no panic selling. Quotations for the more lavoured stocks were largely nominal. There were some bargainhunters in the market, but members of the Sydney Stock Exchange had been officially requested to refrain from bearish operation. Broken Hill Proprietary underwent rapid changes, and the shares rose steeply from 55s in the morning to 64s in the afternoon.
