VISIT TO CHANCELLERY HEILS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED (Reed. Aug. 25, 2.40 p.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 24. Herr Hitler returned suddenly by air to Berlin to-day. He drove to the Chancellery in an open touring car. He appeared sad, looking neither to the right nor the left. His lips were compressed' and he did: not even acknowledge the feeble heils from 200 persons gathered outside the Chancellery.
