TEAM AGAIN ALTERED

REPRESENTATIVE RUGBY DOYLE IN THE PACK A further adjustment has been made to the Rugby team which is to represent Poverty Bay in the match with the Bay of Plenty fifteen in Opo.tiki to-morrow, one of the forwards who'should have been named in the selection this morning having been omitted by mistake. The change is made in the front row of the scrum and the sole selector, Mr. T. French, 'has decided to play a front row comprising M. Doyle (Marist), PI. C. Anderson (Marist) and V. Kutia (H. 5.0.8.), Doyle, originally (selected as an emergency when the team was first announced, now going in in place of the country player, King. Emergencies are announced as follows: —Backs, M. Smiler JMarist); forwards, J. Milne (Old Boys) and J. Shanks (Old Boys). An additional fixture at the OMI to-morrow will be the match between Old Boys A and Clive, the latter being a junior team from Hawke’s Bay. The teams met earlier in the season in Clive and, after one of the best junior games of the season in the Plawke’s Bay township, the Clive fifteen won by 11 points to 3.. The Gisborne team has marked confidence in its ability to turn the tables on this occasion and has been training assidiously for this fixture.
