OPPOSITION LEADER STAY IN WELLINGTON (Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Defence Council met at. Parliament Buildings this morning, the acting Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, presiding It was the intention of the Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition, to leave for Christchurch on Friday to attend the opening of the National Club, but after consultationwith ,thc acting Prime Minister he decided that it was advisable to remain ail Wellington over the* weekend-.
