To finance its building programme, involving tan expenditure of £82,000, the Palmerston North Hospital Board at its meeting this week decided 'to issue 4| per cent debentures, the term of the loan to be 15 years. Included in the programme .are £40,000 for an isolation block; £27,000 for additions to the nurses’ home: £IO,OOO for additions to 'the A-waipuni Home; £3OOO for an ante-natal clinic, and £2OOO for a new morgue.
