Hamilton Centennial Memorial
The erection of a town clock tower, the publication of a booklet for distribution among schoolchildren and a itrce-planting scheme, in which about 5000 children will participate, as Hamilton’s contribution toward the centennial: celebrations were approved at a meeting of the Hamilton Centennial Committee. The clock anver, which it Is estimated will cost, £ISOO, will be Hamilton’s memorial to the pioneers of Hamilton and the Waikato district.
