RETIREMENT PENDING
AUDITOR-GENERAL MR. FOWLER'S SERVICE
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Controller and Auditor-General, Mr. J. H. Fowler, will retire at the end of the month, having completed 44 years’ service.
Mr. Fowler spent the whole of his official career in the department. He succeeded the late Colonel Campbell in March, 1937.
