GUILD BRIDGE PARTY (Herald Cprrespondent.) The first of a series of three bridge and five-hundred evenings, conducted by the Church of England Ladies’ Guild, was held at the Waima barracks recently, 14 tables being engaged in play. Prize winners were:—Bridge. Ladies: —Mrs. G. Mac Kay. Gentlemen: Mr. J. Oates. Hidden Number: Miss Middleton. Five-Hundred: Mrs. E. Hankcy, Mrs. A. Ransley, Mrs. R. Ransley, and Mr. F. .Bignell. Most Clips: Mrs. A. Forrester, and Mr. M. Forrester. Miss Middleton, Gisborne, is the guest of Mrs. D. Geary.—Mrs. J. Corbett is visiting Gisborne. —Miss J- Mitchell is spending the school holidays at her home in Waipawa.—Mrs. E. Hankey was a recent visitor to Gisborne. —Miss M. Baker is on holiday in Gisborne.
