USE BY UNION AIRWAYS PLANS FOR SEPTEMBER By the end of September, the Christchurch aerodrome at Hnrewood will he used regularly by Union Airways. The negotiations now taking place suggest also that it is only a matter of months for the transferring •cif the Canterbury Aero Club to Hnrewood from Wigram. Before the Union Airways machines can use Hnrewood as their landing ground, provision has to toe made for servicing. Following on a conference between the works committee of the City Council and representatives of Union Airways, a decision was made to expedite the construction of one of the two annexes of the main hangar. The annexe will accommodate Air Works (New Zealand), Limited, which .will service the mail and passenger aeroplanes.
