DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES
NEW SEASON’S GUARANTEE AWAIT!NO MR. NASH (Tor Pross Associfllion.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. W. S. Goosinan (Nat., Waikato), in an urgent question addressed to the acting-Minister of Marketing in the House of .Representatives yesterday, inquired when it was intended to announce the new guaranteed price for dairy produce, and whether the recommendations of the expert advisory committee on the guaranteed price were again to bo rejected. The Han. W. Leo Martin, in reply, quoted an extract from the report of Ihe dairy industry conference’s qxocuitive. which was published throughout New Zealand on August 'l, and in which it was staled that a decision as to the price for the,lo.'i!)-'lO season should not be made until the executive had- had the opportunity of discussing tile position with the Minister of Marketing, the lion. W. Nash, on his return, and to this Mr. Lee Martin had agreed.
