AIR MINISTRY POST

DOMINION AIRMAN INSPECTOR RETURNS HOME (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, announced yesterday that the Cabinet had approved of the attachment of Flying-Officer A. B. Lindop to assist the New Zealand liaison officer at the Air Ministry, London, for 12 months, after which he will attend courses of instruction in equipment and accounting duties in the United Kingdom. Flying-Officer Lindop left Wellington last night to connect with the Rangitata at Auckland. Mr. Jones also announced that Mr. F. C. Carpenter, who has been on exchange in New Zealand in place of the chief inspector of aircraft, Mr. R. C. Kean, left last night for Auckland on his return to the United Kingdom. Mr. Carpenter has been in Now Zealand for a year during which he has been attached to the civil aviation branch of the Air Department. Mr. Kean will return to New Zealand about the end of November.
