By “Trenton.” Conditions Were good at the Park race course this morhing and although moist horses were restricted to pace work there was one interesting sprint. Dutch Ace and Mimicry were sent Over three furlongs on the plough and finished together in the smart time of 36 3-ssec. Millions and Jungle King’ wertf not hurried id the early stages of a three-furlong sprint, which took 40sec.
Minnow was given her first lesson over hurdles and shaped very well. Whetu covered a round of hurdles in great style. He is a natural jumper Trainer J. Nixon will not return home with Black Thread and Raana lor some time. He will visit the Taranaki Hunt meeting and then probably go on to Wanganui.
