OBITUARY
The death has occurred of Mr. Alexander Murdoch, a pioneer sheepowner of Otago and Southland, aged 92 years.
Another link with early Wellington has been severed by the death of Mr. Edward James Nation in his eighty-third year. The late Mr. Nation hod been closely connected with the printing trade all his life, bping the fourth son of the late Mr. William Nation, who, in 1875, established “The Colonist,” the first newspaper in the Nelson Province.
